Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
- Perform and interpret telemetry/cardiac monitoring for assigned patients
- Manage patients requiring ventilator support, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
- Document patient assessments and care accurately using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or a Compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 18 months in a relevant clinical setting
- Proficiency with telemetry interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Hands-on experience managing patients with vents, trachs, and chest tubes
