Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to identify and respond to changes in patient condition
- Manage patients requiring tracheostomy and chest tube care
- Support patients on ventilators, applying strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 18 months in a telemetry or related setting
- Proficiency with telemetry interpretation
- Strong ventilator experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Experience managing patients with trachs and chest tubes
