Job Title
RN – Step Down (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Step Down/PCU setting with a focus on cardiac monitoring and management
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong cardiac PCU experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Step Down or Intermediate Care (IMC) unit
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
- Experience in a high-acuity hospital environment
