Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced 30-bed Medical ICU setting
- Manage a complex patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, alcohol and substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy
- Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and drips
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity critical care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with mechanical ventilators and drip management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing patients with multi-system critical illness
- Familiarity with neurological emergencies such as status epilepticus and encephalopathy
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced critical care environment
