Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
- Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients
- Work independently to assess, prioritize, and coordinate care for an actively rotating patient census
- Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications as required for patient safety and unit compliance
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be verified through Nursys
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- Ability to work independently in a rapid admission setting
- Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or rapid-turnover admission unit
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
