Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for patients on a telemetry unit, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately
- Perform and manage IV insertions and PICC lines
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Conduct neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience
- Active Georgia RN license or compact nursing license in hand at time of submission
- NIHSS certification required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Experience with IV insertion and PICC line management in an acute care setting
