Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a complex surgical telemetry unit, applying strong surgical nursing skills
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all patient interactions
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience, with telemetry experience required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Strong surgical nursing background with experience in a complex surgical setting
