Contract | Night Shift | Weekend Block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV/Surgical NICU environment
- Manage patients with complex diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
- Support pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative neonatal patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Participate in holiday coverage as required during the contract period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Experience in a Level IV or Surgical NICU setting
- Must pass a drug screen and nicotine test — this is a nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
- Flu vaccine is required — no exceptions will be made
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
- Experience managing complex neonatal surgical diagnoses and post-operative care
- Comfort and flexibility with floating to additional units within the facility
