Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a strong focus on pulmonary patient populations
- Perform and interpret continuous cardiac/telemetry monitoring
- Manage patients requiring tracheostomy and chest tube care
- Accurately document patient assessments and interventions using the EPIC electronic health record system
- Conduct neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience, with strong pulmonary background
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification — required
- NIHSS certification — required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Telemetry rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience managing patients with trachs and chest tubes
