Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
- Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring to identify and respond to cardiac changes
- Manage patients requiring ventilator support, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- AHA BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 18 months in a telemetry or related setting
- Proficiency with tele interpretation
- Experience with vents, trachs, and chest tubes
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
