Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
- Perform and support peri-dialysis care for applicable patient populations
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (Georgia license or compact eligibility required)
- Minimum 18 months of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Strong peri-dialysis experience required
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity or large hospital environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
