Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the ICU setting
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
- Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic support devices, including Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- Document and manage patient information using the EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience
