Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (Float Pool)

Key Responsibilities
- Float to all critical care floors as part of a float pool assignment
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room, with limited patient assignments when assigned to active ER areas
- Support ER hold, MTC/Step-Down, and PACU hold areas as needed
- Deliver high-acuity patient care in an intensive care setting within a large hospital environment
- Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care experience in a similarly sized facility
- Ability to float across multiple critical care units and settings
- Limited time-off requests expected during the contract period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior float pool experience in a critical care environment
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Experience in Emergency Room, Step-Down, or PACU settings
