- 8-hour shifts average 20 - 24 patients; 9-hour shifts average 25 - 27 patients
- Walk-in patients included -- 4 per shift in addition to prebooked schedule
- Outpatient pediatric clinic setting
- Patient population -- primarily Spanish-speaking, farm-working families
- Age range: 6 months and up
- Scheduling guidelines prevent back-to-back complex visits
