Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit Sioux City. The traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care. The role requires post-anesthesia care experience and includes collaboration across related clinical areas.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience; active Iowa or compact nursing license; active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. On-call coverage includes every third weekend for 12 or 24 hours and potentially 24 nights per week.
- Additional Information: Patient ratios are 1:2. The traveler may float to the intensive care unit as a clinical resource without taking intensive care unit patients and may float within the same discipline across local campuses. First-time travelers may be considered. Travelers are required to work two of three designated winter holidays.
