Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, located in the area, will provide essential nursing care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery department. The role involves managing patient care for antepartum, delivery, and postpartum patients, following AWHONN guidelines, with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Labor & Delivery Nurse in a facility with 18 beds and a team of 54 staff members, including RNs, OB techs, and HUCs.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing, 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery, ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with Vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, triage, and iron infusions. Ideal candidates will be team players, personable, and passionate about patient care. Experience with GE fetal monitoring, EMR systems such as CPN meditech, and the ability to float to mother-baby units if needed are beneficial.
