We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Family Practice for a 120-day assignment in Louisiana. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, with a lunch break from 12-1pm, and a shorter Friday shift from 9am to 12pm. This role focuses on comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventative services, chronic disease management, sports physicals, infections, and simple acute care concerns.Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outpatient primary care services.
- Deliver preventative care to patients.
- Manage chronic care conditions.
- Conduct sports physicals.
- Treat various infections.
- Address simple acute care concerns, referring urgent care level cases as needed.
- Handle patient referrals.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests.
Additional Information- Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- EMR: RPMS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required.
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only).
- No Call requirements.
- Patient volume: Maximum 16 patients per day with 30-minute appointments.
- LOA: 120 Days.
- Staffing Mix: Solo role supported by two LPNs, who assist with early morning lab work.
