Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years recent ED nursing experience, including some Pediatrics (PEDS); travel RN experience required
- License/Certifications:
- Active NY RN license (verified via Nursys)
- All other RN licenses must be active and verified
- Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must have TNCC in hand)
- Documentation: Up-to-date resume, skills checklist matching specialty, driver’s license (address must match demographics), licenses verification, documented travel experience, RTO (requested time off) included at submission
- EMR Experience: EPIC required
- Unit Details:
- Unit: Emergency Department (ED)
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (no guarantee of block scheduling)
- Charge Nurse Capability: Highly preferred
- Floating: Required within the facility
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
- Patients per Unit: 64 beds (2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych)
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Additional Duties: Provide care for all assigned patients, including SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) cases
- Facility Preference: Local candidates within 75 miles preferred (local rate applies)
- Submission Deadline: 48 hours
