Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 48-treatment-space Emergency Department
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 throughout the shift
- Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of emergency patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate timely and effective treatment
- Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior Emergency Department nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or large-capacity emergency department
- ACLS and/or TNCC certification preferred
- Strong triage and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
