Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 48 treatment spaces
- Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and intervention for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large, fast-paced Emergency Department environment
- Familiarity with high patient volumes and managing multiple acuity levels simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills under pressure
