TravelNurseSource is working with Medical Recruitment Strategies to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Castro Valley, California, 94546!
12 bed PACU, mostly utilizing 4-6 bays for phase 1 recovery of general surgery patients and procedural patients receiving general anesthesia and deep sedation. Float to periop as needed for staffing - pre procedure and phase 2 recovery of moderate sedation for Interventional Radiology, GI and Surgery patients. Admission and discharge of patients for same day proceduresCA RN LICENSE - REQUIRED2 YEARS MIN EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED ACLS, BLS, PALS - REQUIREDSHIFT: 5/8s Variable shift start time of 0700-1500; On Call: As Needed; Weekends: As NeededAdditional Role Expectations:Support safe procedural care through appropriate patient assessment, preparation, monitoring, and handoff. Follow department protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate closely with the procedural and recovery teams.Candidates should be prepared to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain professional communication, and follow all applicable patient-safety, infection-prevention, and documentation standards.
