Accounts Payable Specialist
- $24 per hour
- 1st shift, Monday - Friday
- Located ONSITE in Manitowoc, WI
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations. This position will be responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, maintaining accurate vendor records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, process, and enter vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize OpenText and SAP to process and manage accounts payable transactions and supporting documentation.
- Verify invoice information, coding, approvals, and other financial data prior to processing.
- Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks, ACH payments, and virtual card transactions.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and monitor outstanding balances.
- Reconcile vendor statements and research invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Work with vendors and internal departments to resolve accounts payable questions and issues.
- Review and reconcile goods receipt/invoice receipt (GR/IR) activity to identify outstanding or unmatched transactions.

- Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Previous accounts payable or related accounting experience required.
- OpenText experience strongly preferred.
- SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and working with vendor payments.
- Comfortable working with numbers and performing routine accounting calculations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
