Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Telemetry setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma, teaching hospital.
- Float as needed across ICU and Telemetry units to meet facility staffing needs based on census and acuity.
- Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation using Cerner electronic health records.
- Adhere to all facility dress code, compliance, and infection control standards throughout the assignment.
- Complete required orientation modules prior to beginning patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN state license (no pending licenses accepted).
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Willingness to float to any ICU or Telemetry unit based on facility need.
- Availability to work weekends as required.
- Must comply with facility dress code: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos covered, no visible body piercings other than stud earrings within the earlobe.
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the standard rate.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records.
- Experience functioning as a float or resource pool RN across multiple units.
