Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular, East Portland. Provides coordinated nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. The role supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, applies critical thinking, and supports safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care experience.
- Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote patient health and safety; collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provide health education; participate in discharge planning; and delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
