Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit. The role provides comprehensive care for patients with acute needs requiring continuous monitoring, while developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care. Responsibilities include patient advocacy, family education, direct care, and proficient use of clinical equipment and technology.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and authorization to practice in the state of permanent residency; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 12 months of employment; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification obtained during orientation; minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Provides care in an acute setting for patients requiring intensive monitoring. Responsibilities include developing and evaluating plans of care, advocating for patients, educating patients and families on self-care, performing nursing procedures, using clinical equipment and technology skillfully, and managing medication inventory and distribution as needed. Weekend work and holiday assignments may be required based on unit needs. Assignment dates are 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.
