Contract | Days | Rotating 10-hour shifts (0700–1700 or 0900–1900) or 12-hour shifts (0700–1900) | Onsite | No self-scheduling
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a 4-suite Operating Room performing 10–20 cases per day
- Support a variety of surgical specialties including general, breast, orthopedic (total joints, no spine), urology, GYN, and robotics
- Function in a charge capacity and assist with patient flow as needed
- Collaborate with OR technicians and interdisciplinary surgical team members to ensure safe, efficient care
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
- May float to Endoscopy if experience supports it
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license eligible for practice in Idaho
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Hands-on Operating Room nursing experience
- Ability to work rotating 10-hour or 12-hour day shifts without self-scheduling flexibility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–4 years of OR nursing experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Experience in Endoscopy for potential float coverage
