Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Multiple schedule options available (36/36, 36/48, and 48/48)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting across night shift hours
- Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Rotate weekends and holidays as part of standard scheduling expectations
- Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
- Complete required orientation modules, including online CBLs, during the designated orientation period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form — no substitutions)
- NIHSS certification required
- Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure to complete or pass will result in cancellation
- Must be available to complete a drug test within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date, with availability for a potential second lab visit if needed
- Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC guidelines for fit testing
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AHA ACLS certification preferred (AHA is the only accepted form — no substitutions)
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
- Comfort with floating to multiple units and adapting to varying patient census needs
