Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Variable Days | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting maintaining a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS as required
- Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as needed based on staffing requirements
- Complete required compliance modules during pre-start and annually as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required; proof must be provided at time of submission
- Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
- Familiarity with large academic or multi-facility health system environments
