Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Expected 72 hours biweekly | No call requirement; weekend and holiday rotation may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and/or circulate in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Operating Room environment supporting a wide range of surgical specialties
- Provide perioperative nursing care for procedures including neurosurgery, orthopedic trauma, kidney and liver transplants, bariatric, spine, ENT (head & neck), GYN, urology, robotic surgery, major plastic reconstruction, and organ procurement
- Float as needed to additional OR units within the facility
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotation as assigned
- Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and orientation requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- BILH network credentialing/coversheet compliance required
- Neuro, orthopedic trauma, and kidney transplant OR experience required
- Proficiency in scrub and/or circulator roles across multiple surgical specialties
- Candidates must not have worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem within the past six months
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic surgery platforms
- Background in organ procurement and/or liver transplant procedures
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma surgical environments
- Experience across multiple OR subspecialties including spine, ENT, and urology
