Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit with a focus on burn care patients
- Float to other facilities within the health system as needed based on staffing requirements
- Deliver critical care nursing interventions in alignment with unit protocols and evidence-based practice
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including PALS for Burn Care
- Complete required onboarding and annual learning modules through the designated learning management system
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- AHA BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required for Burn Care
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience
- Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months required
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required; proof must be provided at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Burn Unit nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatrics experience
- CCRN (Certified Critical Care Nurse) certification
- ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support) certification
- CBRN (Certified Burn Registered Nurse) certification
- Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
