Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for patients in the Heart & Vascular Unit, including stable heart and lung transplant patients.
- Administer cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips with no titration required.
- Float to different units within the facility as staffing needs dictate.
- Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Active RN license; pending Nebraska RN permit accepted with conditions.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; NIH and CPI preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a large, urban hospital, preferably at a Level I Trauma Center.
- Experienced in administering and managing drips on all floors.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
- Prepared to work weekends and holidays as part of the contract requirements.
