Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Neuro PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients with neurological conditions, including strokes, aneurysms, and seizures.
- Perform long-term EEG monitoring and manage specialized equipment such as lumbar drains.
- Administer and manage multiple drips including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin on all floors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care techs, transport, and swoop/paramedic teams.
- Float to various units within scope to meet facility needs, including potential shifts at Bellevue campus.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system and adhere to patient care protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
- Prior experience in Neuro Stepdown/IMC or similar acute care environments.
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
- Certified in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
- Experience with managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
