- Schedule Notes: Some weekend shifts required; may float to Mother/Baby or other functional areas as needed

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Experience with high-risk Labor & Delivery, antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, inductions, and maternal emergencies
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work in a patient-ratio driven environment and adapt to unit needs
- Must be comfortable floating between units within the facility as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Support high-risk deliveries, including VBAC/TOLAC, inductions, augmentations, and maternal emergencies
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and related obstetric procedures
- Manage medications and therapies such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and anticoagulation as ordered
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote excellent outcomes for patients and newborns
- Document care accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery experience
