Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Level II Trauma Center
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3, delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
- Work required weekends (6 per 6-week schedule) and commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays
- Adhere to department dress code and all facility compliance standards
- Float to sister facilities nearby as needed per assignment requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience (hard stop requirement)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
- Must be able to commit to scheduling requirements upfront, including RTO requests at time of submission
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or high-acuity emergency department
- Familiarity with trauma nursing protocols and high-volume patient environments
- Experience with block scheduling and flexible shift arrangements
