Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment, including management of critically ill and trauma patients
- Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Administer blood products and IV vasopressors per protocol
- Manage ventilated patients in accordance with facility standards
- Provide intermittent weekend coverage as needed; expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays
- Float within the hospital when census or staffing needs require
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN License (required at time of submission)
- ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS certifications required at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required; 18 months may be considered for candidates coming from a comparable facility
- Level I or Level II trauma experience required
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Any candidate who has worked at this facility as a permanent employee must have been separated for at least 6 months prior to submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification
- TNCC certification
- Two supervisor references preferred
